One postponed event after another, no thanks to COVID-19 scare! Major events, especially our CAMPUS FEVER have been cancelled over the threat of the 2019 novel coronavirus that has taken the lives of more than 4,000 people and 114,000 cases worldwide even if it has not yet been considered a pandemic.
These events include activities that have always drawn students to focus on quality curation of music, arts and even theatric interests. But rescheduling all our events is an effort we've done as a preventive measure purportedly to contain and prevent the spread of the viral disease which has affected the schools and the entire Philippine nation.
We call on the public to continue to be vigilant and practice personal preventive measures such as proper hand hygiene, social distancing, and cough etiquette. In the meantime, let us refrain from visiting public places and/or attending mass gatherings. Let us all pray for our government to exhaust all efforts to contain the spread COVID-19.
We would like to apologize for the cancellation of our events since January 2020 and we are also calling for your cooperation in this trying time. Only through concerted effort of everyone that we will be able to succeed against the threat of this deadly disease.
